At the end of the call for projects Local Initiative for Justice of AFRICTIVISTES, 30 applications were received. The choice was difficult because all the projects are relevant and it was necessary to choose only 5 to celebrate the African Month of Justice or Africa Month of Justice (August 2010).
As agreed, 5 projects have been selected and will receive 2000 US $ to organize their activity in their respective countries. The projects address issues related to justice and deal with the subject of the role and mechanisms of the African Commission on Human and Peoples' Rights (ACPHR).
